About the Pastor

Dr. Engracio T. Samson leads our church to achieve its purposes. We call him simply as "Pastor Bot." He has a doctoral degree in Biblical Studies from Asia Graduate Baptist Theological Seminary with its central office located in Hong Kong. In addition, he has obtained his pastoral care education from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to his coming to the US, he has served as pastor of several evangelical churches in the Philippines. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he has taught at theological schools and conducted seminars for associations of churches.

At present, he leads FACC to fulfill its mission to "lead unchurched Filipino Americans and other people to a meaningful relationship with God and to connect them to a growing community of Christ-followers."

Pastor Bot is married to the former Edna Almonte Salayog, a former staff member of the University Baptist Student Center in the Philippines. He and his wife have four children: Timothy Paul, Ruth Ann, Naomi Lyn, and John David. In 2005, the Lord blessed them with a grandson, Zachary John.
